Just like a vehicle service you should have your air conditioning system tested each year to ensure optimum performance and followed by an Air Conditioning service every 2 years.
Air Conditioning system pre - inspection (Required before any Air Conditioning Service)
Due to a recent change in Automotive Air Conditioning regulations it is now a legal requirement for us to check your air con system for any faults or leaks before carrying out any Re-gas or Air Conditioning Service.
Our air conditioning system inspection includes:
- A refrigerant check
- A Diagnostic check of the air conditioning system.
- A thorough inspection of the system components, including the compressor, condenser and drive belts.
- A specialist leak detection test to confirm your system will last so you don't waste your money.
Its at this point we will contact you if their are any issues with your system. Once complete, you have the option of A1 Autocentres Air Conditioning Service or an air conditioning re-gas

Re-Gas and Anti-
Bacterial Cabin Clean.
Our ‘Re-Gas & Anti-Bacterial Cabin Clean’ will remove your vehicles old Air Con gas and oil and will replace with fresh gas and new oil to aid with lubricating important parts. We also add leak detection dye into the system to help find any potential future leaks.
On top of this we give your vehicle an anti-bacterial deodorising treatment to leave your cabin bacteria free and smelling fresh.
Ultimate Air Conditioning
Clean.
Our ‘’ Clean’ will remove your vehicles old Air Con gas and oil and will replace with fresh gas and new oil to aid with lubricating important parts. We also add leak detection dye into the system to help find any potential future leaks.
On top of this we give your vehicle an anti-bacterial deodorising treatment to leave your cabin bacteria free and smelling fresh.
As well as re-gassing and deodorising your vehicle we also replace your vehicles pollen filter this will leave your car with nothing but crisp, clean air coming from your vents and circulating your cabin. This is advised if anyone in your family has a pollen allergy
or if your cabin is starting to smell.
New 1234yf Air Con Gas (Most cars after 2015)
Most new vehicles use a different type of Air Con Gas known as 1234yf, This is a legal requirement and is more environmentally friendly. This gas is a lot more expensive than normally 134a gas and has a completely different pricing structure.
